One of the first things people learn in hunter education is to always use eye protection. Though it is a key component to safety, many hunters chose not to use them.
The right eyewear can not only save your eyes, but it can help your hunt considerably. Here are our top 5 reasons why every hunter should use eye protection in the field.
1. Protection, obviously
The number one reason to wear our ANSI Z87+ rated eyewear while shooting is to protect your eyes from debris, ejected shells, or dirt. While hunting through thick brush, a good pair of lenses will prevent sticks and other particles from hitting your eyes while you’re focusing on targeting your game.
