There comes a point in a relationship when you simply can't think of what to buy or do for your significant other on Valentine's Day. Luckily for the firearms lovers out there, we've compiled a list of 3 Valentine's Day Date Ideas that you and your partner will be sure to enjoy!
1. Couples Range Day
Head to the gun range! What better way to show your significant other that you love them than by spending time with them? Whether you are a new shooter or an experienced shooter, a local range will definitely have something to offer. In much of the country at this time of year, an indoor range is your best option. However, if there is an outdoor trap range open where you live, that may be a fun option as well! Some ranges even put together a Valentine’s Day special and others even hold weekly “date-nights at the range”.
But, what if your valentine is not accustomed to shooting? A good approach to take with a partner that is unsure about going to a range is to explain that you’re trying to make 2019 a year about experiences rather than things. This will at least spark their adventurous side and, hopefully, will get you two to the range. Plus, you don’t know unless you try! Click here to find a range near you.
Tip: Once you find a range near you, be sure to check out what they have to say about their range etiquette. Or, if you can’t find it on their website, ask!
2. Firearms class
Feeling even more adventurous? Try signing the two of you up for a firearm class. Many ranges offer classes for all types of experience levels. If you’re a competitive couple, it’s a great way to let that flirtatious competitive side out.
Classes are also a great place to meet other Second Amendment-supporting couples. How about a future double date?! Having like-minded couples as friends is always a good idea, and a great way to get back to the range for a couples date night.
Or, if you’re not really into taking a class, the other option would be to gift your significant other a class. Maybe they’ve always wanted to get their conceal and carry permit...perfect, give them a gift certificate to take a class! Your Valentine will definitely appreciate it.
3. Firearms Shopping
I recently purchased 2 hard cases and they scratched both my clear and dark lens. I thought they weren’t supposed to do that.
