How to install SSP Eye Anchors

SSP Eye Anchors offer a comfortable alternative to a lanyard or strap. They work well with both over-the-ear and in-ear hearing protection.

  1. Remove your glasses. Rub a small amount of dish soap or hand soap onto each temple where the Eye Anchor will slide.
  2. Slide each Eye Anchor into place. Position it so it rests comfortably behind your ear when you put the glasses on.
  3. Check the fit. Make any adjustments while the soap is still wet. Once the soap dries, the Eye Anchors will stay in place.

In the field: If soap is unavailable, a little saliva can help you slide the Eye Anchors into position.
